Singer/songwriter Jeremy Hicks was told to find a new profession after a cancerous tumor in his chest left one of his vocal chords paralyzed. Still he began to write new songs in attempt to cope with his emotional state. Over time, however, a raw, cutting voice came out of him that would give life to those songs.
